Postnatal FAQs

What do the sessions focus on?

Each class is specifically designed for new mothers who want to regain strength, flexibility, and fitness after childbirth. These classes focus on exercises that are safe for postnatal recovery and often incorporate core strengthening, pelvic floor exercises, and gentle cardio. How intense you want to make it is entirely up to you - the trainer will provide adaptations to all exercises.

When can I start attending postnatal fitness classes?

It is generally recommended to start postnatal fitness classes at least 6 weeks after a vaginal birth or 8-10 weeks after a C-section, depending on your individual recovery. Always consult with your healthcare provider before starting any postnatal exercise programme.

Can I bring my baby to the class?

Yes! Our classes are baby-friendly, so you can bring your little one along. Many exercises can be done with your baby, and there are areas for your baby to rest or play while you work out.

Do I need prior fitness experience to join?

No prior fitness experience is necessary. Our classes are designed to accommodate all fitness levels, from beginners to more experienced participants. Exercises can be modified to suit your individual needs.

What should I bring to the class?

All you'll need is some water, comfortable workout clothes, and any essentials for your baby.

What if my baby becomes fussy during the class?

Don't worry! We understand that babies can get fussy. Feel free to take breaks as needed to feed, change, or soothe your baby. The class is designed to be relaxed and supportive, so you can attend to your baby whenever necessary. If you feel like you haven't got the most out of your workout, you will be given a credit for the next class!

What if I need to cancel my class booking?

If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us in advance. This allows us to offer your spot to another participant. We understand that life with a new baby can be unpredictable, so we try to be as flexible as possible.

Can I attend if I had complications during my pregnancy or delivery?

If you had any complications, we strongly recommend consulting your healthcare provider before starting any exercise program. Our instructors can work with you to modify exercises, but your doctor's advice is essential.
